James has extensive experience with the design and management of residential projects throughout California. He began his career in Southern California immersing himself in the rich architectural culture of that region. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2010, he has focused on residential projects in and around Marin County. He was also a founding member of Kupa Studios, Beijing, a design/build collective made up of artists and architects. With Kupa, James was involved with the design of numerous award winning restaurant projects in China.
James has a passion for detail, a deep knowledge of building standards, and a keen understanding of how these parts make up the whole.
