Announcing: Richardson Pribuss Architects, Inc.
We have exiting news! We are now Richardson Pribuss Architects, Inc. (RPA). Founded as Richardson Architects by Heidi Richardson in 1984, the change reflects the evolution of our practice and the promotion of Senior Design Director Andrew Pribuss, to partner.
Andrew has been with us since 2011, and over the past eight years, has made substantial contributions to the firm’s growth, significantly increasing his involvement in the design direction and client management. In his new position, Andrew will continue as design director and assume a stronger leadership role in the overall direction of RPA, overseeing staff and expanding our portfolio into restaurants, commercial projects, and accessory dwelling units (ADUs).
“The firm’s new organization will help us better serve our clients and enable us to seek larger projects,” said Founding Partner Heidi Richardson. “Importantly, Andrew’s talents and design philosophies are aligned with our mission, and we enjoy collaborating in new and creative ways!”
In recent years, we have completed a number of ground-up, single family residences and extensive remodels. Throughout, Andrew has infused a modern design aesthetic while creating spaces that feel warm and welcoming. As a result, numerous projects are currently on the boards, including five new residences and two restaurants as well as a mixed use commercial/residential project.
“I’m grateful to have built this practice alongside Heidi and excited to continue to deliver outstanding, leading-edge and sustainable work,” said Andrew.
In addition to leadership changes, we have assembled a “small projects team” and hired two new designers to assist with smaller remodels, ADUs, and single project additions. Overseen by Heidi and Andrew, this team will provide former and prospective clients access to RPA’s full architectural and design services.
Heidi will continue to be the driving force. With deep roots in the Southern Marin community, an in-depth knowledge of historical renovations, and an expertise at navigating the local zoning and building regulations, she’ll be pivotal in achieving design excellence across all sectors.
The changes coincide with a new, bigger office, located at 447 Miller Ave, Suite D, Mill Valley, CA 94941
